We have an exciting opportunity to join our Operations team as a Project Coordinator at a time of rapid growth and innovation at Cognisys.

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support the delivery of cybersecurity consulting projects. In this role, you’ll manage the scheduling and coordination of over 10 Security Consultants, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

You’ll be the central point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, handling enquiries, and ensuring alignment across internal teams. By closely monitoring consultant availability and utilisation, you’ll play a key role in optimising resource allocation and overall project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain schedules for a team of 10+ Security Consultants, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Coordinate internal resources and track project timelines to meet key milestones on time and within budget.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear and timely updates on project progress, deliverables, and scope.
  • Handle client enquiries professionally, escalating issues to the right teams when needed.
  • Monitor consultant availability and utilisation to optimise resource allocation.
  • Generate and share insightful reports on resource planning and project status with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with consultants, project managers, and technical leads to keep everyone aligned and projects on track.
  • Facilitate internal meetings focused on project progress and resource management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator/Project Planner/Project Controller or similar project-focused role.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
  • A strong communicator, confident in managing client relationships and internal coordination.
  • Quick to learn and able to apply new skills effectively.
  • A proactive problem-solver, capable of anticipating issues and proposing practical solutions.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled at prioritising competing demands and allocating resources to ensure projects start and finish on time.
  • Approach challenges and feedback with a balanced, solution-oriented mindset
  • Passionate about cybersecurity and motivated to grow within a dynamic consulting environment.
