The Role
As Snr. Manager of Brand and Content Marketing, you will play a key role in driving the brand positioning, visual identity and content marketing strategy for Cognism. We’ve built one of Europe’s strongest B2B data, enrichment and sales intelligence platforms, and as we move decisively up‑market into Mid‑Market and Enterprise, our brand and narrative must evolve with us. This hands‑on leadership role exists to elevate Cognism’s brand, editorial strategy, awareness campaigns, and the creative standards that show up everywhere a buyer, customer, partner or analyst encounters Cognism.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the chief storyteller at Cognism, working closely with the marketing and executive leadership team to develop an ambitious and bold content marketing and communications strategy that materially drives share of voice, and competitive differentiation.
- Partner closely with SEO managers to build and optimise customer journeys that maximise content discoverability.
- Build and manage partnerships with creative agencies and freelancers to deliver on‑brand content and help scale content production, including bylines, white papers, blogs, press releases, presentation content, and creative assets for ambitious paid and earned media campaigns.
- Be the custodian of Cognism’s visual identity, tone of voice and point of view in market.
- Deliver a bold brand awareness campaign that starts conversations and meaningfully grows brand consideration amongst Enterprise buyers.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Product Marketing teams to understand customer pain points and develop collateral, messages and campaigns to proactively address objections and connect customers to our products.
- Measure and optimise content for reach, engagement, brand lift and resonance amongst our target audience of senior revenue operations and sales decision makers.
Key Requirements
- 8+ years of content and brand marketing experience with a strong portfolio of storytelling, brand campaigns, and thought leadership programmes.
- Possesses a deep understanding of how to create effective content that directly supports demand generation and the buyer’s journey.
- Proven ability to create provocative, insight‑driven narratives that elevate brand perception.
- Deep understanding of creative strategy, messaging, and emotional storytelling in B2B SaaS.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating across brand, design, comms, and events to deliver integrated brand awareness campaigns.
- Comfort working at both conceptual and executional levels; from ideation to writing, and production.
- Strong creative instincts and editorial judgment; able to identify what’s fresh, resonant, and newsworthy.
- A passion for experimentation – unafraid to test formats, styles, and creative risk‑taking to break through the noise.
- Highly collaborative, self‑driven, and confident presenting ideas to senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating as a player‑coach. This role will manage one other content marketer, and you will be expected to operate as team lead and operator.
