£130,000 plus car, generous bonus and benefits. Near Southampton. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Finance Director to join a well-funded property construction business with a substantial landbank and a strong forward pipeline.
Working closely with the CFO, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the group’s financial direction and supporting long-term growth. You’ll take ownership of cashflow forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, and project-level financial reviews, ensuring robust visibility across developments, utilities, roads, disposals, and Section 106 commitments.
Acting as a commercial finance business partner, you’ll collaborate with Quantity Surveyors and Cost Consultants to challenge assumptions, validate project viability, and provide clear insight that drives strategic decision-making. In addition, you will support future debt-finance activities, helping prepare the business for ongoing funding needs while maintaining a disciplined approach to capital deployment.
You’ll be responsible for group-level forecasting, and deputising for the CFO when required, offering continuity and confident leadership across the finance function and wider business. This is a high-impact position suited to a commercially minded finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, development-focused environment.
