An established, well-capitalised residential developer is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial delivery of multiple housing projects from land appraisal through to final account.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage and report on site budgets and prime costs.
- Lead subcontractor procurement, payments, variations and final accounts.
- Monitor build costs, report savings/excesses and forecast final position.
- Support land appraisals and feasibility studies with detailed cost estimates.
- Implement value engineering to maximise profitability.
- Ensure consistent commercial processes across the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven residential housebuilding experience.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and cost control skills.
- IT proficient; experience with industry cost systems advantageous.
