Cognisant Search has been appointed to recruit a Head of Commercial or Commercial Director for a respected traditional housebuilder, delivering high-quality family homes. Operating across the Home Counties, up to Cambridge, the company has a strong landbank and solid financial backing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Managing Director, taking full responsibility for all commercial activities, including quantity surveying, buying and estimating.
- Lead, direct, and coach the Commercial team to develop high-performing individuals.
- Drive a robust commercial approach to ensure fair value and optimum returns.
- Oversee procurement, promoting best value, strong supplier relationships, and innovation.
- Maximise the use of COINS across all commercial operations.
- Contribute as a key member of the Board, exemplifying and promoting company values.
