Cognisant Search are working with a leading national housebuilder, committed to delivering high-quality homes in thriving communities. They are seeking a Senior Land Manager to lead their regional land team, focusing on sourcing and obtaining land opportunities that correspond with company growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead identification, negotiation, and acquisition of development sites to meet targets
• Manage sites through legal processes and secure suitable planning approvals
• Monitor industry, planning, and policy trends through research and events
• Prepare and negotiate heads of terms, land bids, and acquisition agreements
• Liaise with legal teams, consultants, and internal departments to ensure smooth progression of sites
• Oversee planning delivery to ensure it meets time, budget, and commercial requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in land acquisition within volume housebuilding
• Strong understanding of planning policy, local authorities, and legislation
• Established regional network and ability to self-source opportunities
• Commercially aware with strong communication and negotiation skills
