We’re working with a residential developer in Cornwall looking to appoint a Technical & Engineering Manager to support the delivery of multiple schemes across the region.
The Role
You’ll act as the technical lead on projects from planning through to completion, managing design coordination, approvals and technical delivery in line with programme and budget.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the design process across all disciplines
- Coordinating external consultants, scopes and appointments
- Progressing planning conditions, building control and warranty approvals
- Overseeing technical compliance, specifications and buildability
- Leading on civil engineering matters including ground conditions, utilities and statutory approvals
- Supporting tender processes with Commercial teams
- Managing pre-construction programmes, trackers and risk registers
- Providing technical support to site teams during delivery
Requirements
- Experience in a technical/engineering role within residential development
- Strong understanding of planning, building regulations and infrastructure design
- Experience managing consultants and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet programme deadlines
