Cognisant Search has been appointed to recruit a Delivery Director on behalf of a rapidly growing residential developer and investor, building quality homes across the North West. With an established and growing pipeline of developments and ambitious growth plans, this is a pivotal appointment, to take responsibility for ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and to the highest standards.
Key aspects:
- Full accountability for project delivery from land handover through to practical completion to customer
- Lead the Development, Technical, Commercial and Construction functions as one integrated team
- Drive programme certainty, quality standards and margin performance across the portfolio
- Identify risks early, intervene decisively, maintain exceptional health, safety and environmental standards
- Provide commercial insight and strategic recommendations
- Support growth through operational improvements, systems development and key leadership appointments
You are an experienced housebuilding director with a proven track record of delivering homes from acquisition handover through to practical completion. A hands-on leader with strong technical, commercial and construction expertise, capable of identifying issues early and driving successful outcomes. Experience of working within a JCT D&B environment would be advantageous but not essential.
This opportunity will suit an individual who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence and is excited by the prospect of helping build a high performing regional housebuilder during a period of significant growth.
