Essex based housebuilder is hiring a high‐calibre Senior Finance Manager to play a pivotal leadership role within a regional finance function. This is an opportunity to drive financial performance, lead a talented team, and act as a trusted business partner across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as deputy to the Finance Director and represent finance at management meetings.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations, WIP, and key financial controls.
- Provide commercial insight to support land acquisition, development appraisals, and investment decisions.
- Own the full monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to Group.
- Prepare consolidated management accounts, forecasts, and insightful commentary.
- Drive continuous process improvement across finance operations and reporting.
- Lead the finance team, fostering a positive, high‐performance culture.
The Person
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a proactive mindset with the ability to challenge, analyse and influence performance. Experience within housebuilding, construction, or property development is beneficial.
