Hours: 40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Registered Care Home Manager for a well-established nursing home in Colchester, offering high-quality nursing, dementia, and residential care. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a supportive, person-centred environment.

As Home Manager, youll be responsible for delivering outstanding care and ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations. Youll inspire your team to maintain high standards, manage operational resources effectively, and promote a culture of dignity and respect. Building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the care team to deliver exceptional care

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including budgeting and staffing

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards

• Maintain healthy occupancy through community engagement

• Regularly review and update individual care plans

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Registered Care Home Manager in a nursing home setting

• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management (or equivalent)

• Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills

• In-depth understanding of CQC requirements

• A nursing qualification is desirable but not essential
