We're working with a brand-new client looking for a Regulatory Compliance Business Analyst to support a major Financial Crime / AML transformation programme.
This is an end-to-end role where you'll work closely with Compliance, Operations, Technology, Data and Risk stakeholders, with an initial focus on Transaction Monitoring and Quantexa implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, workshops and business analysis
- Support Transaction Monitoring and Financial Crime transformation
- Work across Quantexa implementation, requirements, design, testing and implementation
- Produce BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows and gap analysis
- Support SIT/UAT, test case development and defect management
- Analyse data quality, lineage, governance and critical data elements
- Support scenario analysis, threshold testing and validation
- Prepare RAID logs, governance packs and stakeholder reporting
- Work closely with Compliance, Operations, Technology, Data and Risk teams
Key Experience
- Strong commercial experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services
- Experience across AML / Financial Crime / Regulatory Compliance
- Strong Transaction Monitoring experience
- Excellent SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience with SIT/UAT and end-to-end delivery
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Quantexa experience from a business, functional or implementation perspective is highly desirable
- KYC / CDD / EDD experience
- Sanctions or Customer Screening experience
- Power BI experience
- Experience working on complex Financial Crime transformation programmes
