Salary: up to £100,000 Benefits: Stock Options Industry/Type of business: E-commerce Work place: Hybrid: 2 day a week Interview process: 3 stages As the Lead Analytics Engineer, you will have full ownership of the Data/Analytics Platform and be tasked with building a best-in-class platform. You’ll work across the vertices of the business working closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, translate complex business process into data models. You’d be leading a team of 4, although not fully built yet! You’ll be responsible for developing their career and ensuring they are working on the right projects. We are looking for someone who can unlock work for others, drive excellence and develop a world class team. We are looking for an owner! The accomplished Head of Data has a well-thought-out data strategy underpinned by strong values and full C-suite support. They employ a data mesh style approach, emphasising action and impact, with data teams owning their metrics. Key Responsibilities: Ownership of the Analytics and Data platform team Leading, Developing and Mentoring team members Owning Business critical Data Models Working closely with Stakeholders to gather requirements Skills: SQL Data modelling / dbt Excellent stakeholder skills Experience with BI tools (Looker, Lightdash, Omni) Leadership experience This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing data team, providing real insight and value to a data-savvy organization.
