This is a junior revenue operations role focused on AI automation, systems integration, and data infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Growth Operations, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the automated systems, data flows, and AI-enabled processes that underpin Cognassist’s commercial engine. This is not a marketing or sales execution role. You will work across CRM, marketing automation, AI tooling, analytics, and integrations — ensuring the operational infrastructure is scalable, clean, and increasingly automated. The ideal candidate is analytically sharp, systems-oriented, and genuinely excited about applying AI to real business problems. We’re looking for someone early in their career with exceptional quantitative ability and a hunger to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Automation & Process Engineering
    • Identify, build, and optimise AI-driven automations across marketing and commercial operations.
    • Design and implement workflows using AI tools (LLMs, APIs, no-code/low-code platforms) to reduce manual effort and improve speed.
    • Develop and maintain AI prompts, agents, and automation chains for repeatable business processes.
    • Re-engineer internal processes to support scalable automation and AI enablement.
    • Ensure responsible, ethical, and privacy-compliant use of AI technologies.
    • Document all automations, prompt libraries, and system logic for team knowledge.
  • Systems & CRM Operations
    • Own day-to-day CRM hygiene, configuration, and continuous improvement.
    • Build and maintain integrations between CRM, marketing automation, website, AI tools, and analytics platforms.
    • Ensure data accuracy, deduplication, and clean governance across all systems.
    • Maintain cost-conscious system architecture; evaluate and recommend tooling.
    • Support lifecycle stage design, lead scoring models, and segmentation logic.
  • Data & Analytics
    • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure for pipeline, funnel, and campaign performance.
    • Track conversion rates, identify drop-off points, and surface optimisation opportunities.
    • Perform quantitative analysis to inform strategic decisions across growth operations.
    • Ensure data portability and structured reporting standards across platforms.
    • Support closed-lost analysis and feedback loop development.
  • Funnel & Pipeline Support
    • Support end-to-end funnel operations from lead capture through to pipeline tracking.
    • Manage lead capture, scoring, nurturing, and MQL progression processes within automation tools.
    • Ensure seamless data flow between marketing automation and CRM.
    • Optimise automation flows to mature leads before handover to sales.
  • Operational Support
    • Support the Head of Growth Operations with systems-level execution across owned marketing assets (website, email, analytics, paid channels).
    • Assist with technical setup for webinars, landing pages, and campaign infrastructure.
    • Support partner enablement through structured co-marketing systems and data sharing.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong quantitative and analytical ability — comfortable with data, formulas, logic, and systems thinking.
  • Demonstrable AI literacy: proficient in prompt engineering, familiar with LLM capabilities and limitations, able to evaluate and deploy AI tools.
  • Ability to understand and design sequential processes, data flows, and system logic.
  • Working knowledge of (or strong aptitude to learn) CRM systems, marketing automation, and integration platforms.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, data manipulation, and basic scripting (Python, SQL, or similar is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and a bias toward structured, documented work.
  • Self-starter with genuine curiosity and a desire to develop professionally.

Key Competencies

  • Systems Thinking — Sees how components connect; designs scalable, integrated solutions.

  • Precision & Rigor — Produces clean, accurate, well-documented work.
  • Ownership — Takes full responsibility for deliverables and follows through.
  • Adaptability — Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving priorities in a scaling business.
