As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Global, Regional, and Market-level commercial teams by developing data-driven insights that drive strategic decision-making and commercial growth. You will lead or contribute to high-impact Global and Regional projects across marketing and sales, providing analytical expertise to optimise business performance.
Leveraging your strong business acumen and analytical mindset, you will transform complex data into actionable insights, influencing commercial strategies across the Region. A key focus of this role is supporting the development and adoption of Tableau dashboards, ensuring data visualization effectively informs decision-making at all levels. This role is ideal for a commercially minded analyst with a passion for data storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and strategic problem-solving in a dynamic, international environment.
Essential Functions- Develop a deep knowledge of our business, our portfolio, our competitors and the market, through pro-active research, analysis and close collaboration with the Category & Brand Marketing teams. Uncover real insights and present these to EMEA Sales and Marketing functions to create value-adding actions.
- Drive strategic thinking in the commercial organisation by developing business insights to support decision making. Influence through business partnering and strong communication skills.
- Develop and deliver in all aspects of commercial analysis, reporting, KPIs/dashboards and business insights. Lead continuous improvement to ensure all reports remain relevant and insightful.
- Support global and regional projects as a BI lead. Projects may be systems or productivity driven.
- Drive adoption of Tableau within Region by harnessing the power of data and the simplicity of Tableau dashboards.
- Support the EMEA Commercial Analytics & Insights Manager in training and developing the commercial analyst.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, maintaining a high level of accuracy, quality and efficiency.
- Interpretation, analysis and data storytelling skills.
- Knowledge of visualization tools, Tableau is an advantage.
- CRM (Salesforce) experience knowledge preferred.
- Cognos experience is important.
- Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines both working autonomously and within a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels of the organisation, create interdepartmental links based on different projects with a respective level of integrity.
- Be a team player with the ability to be both part of, create and lead teams.
