Mat cover vet role with Cogges Vets, Oxfordshire. Up to £68,000 (DOE). Contract is for 9 months with a high chance for the role to become permanent.

About us: Cogges Veterinary surgery is a small animal practice based in Witney, Oxfordshire. The practice has seven veterinarians, including specialists, and operates in a nurse‑led environment.

How You’ll Make a Difference: As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests, share knowledge with colleagues, and support the development of the team.

Hours of work: 30‑40 hours per week, 3‑5 days. Requires coverage on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, plus occasional 1:6 sole charge weekends. Some flexibility is available.
