Main Purpose of Role: Being part of a dynamic UK Sales team, you will report to the Regional Sales Manager in your area. It will be your responsibility to provide a first class breeding advisory service to dairy and beef farmers on the Cogent portfolio of products and services to achieve genetic improvement in the customer's herd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining good customer relationships and providing excellent customer service at all times by understanding the customers' business needs.
  • Providing farmers with the best advice and options on how they meet their individual targets on farm and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Managing and building a portfolio of customers to achieve your individual targets.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of the Cogent portfolio of products and services and sharing this knowledge with the team.
  • Continually developing and improving both yourself and working practices.
  • Ensuring that the Cogent policies and procedures are adhered to by yourself and your team.
  • Attending agricultural events to market and promote Cogent products and services.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of the industry and market trends and sharing this knowledge with the team.
