Our client based in Skipton are looking to recruit a warehouse operative to work with them on a temporary to permanent contract. The main purpose of the role will be to assist with the despatch of their product and work in a small team environment to ensure orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time.
THE ROLE:
- Picking stock, heavy lifting up to 25kg
- Picking using pick sheets following alphanumeric codes to locate stock
- Palletizing products, wrapping pallets, labelling pallets and loading onto containers
THE CANDIDATE:
- Must be physically fit due to nature of the role (heavy stock up to 25kg lifts required to be lifted alone)
- FLT Reach or Counterbalance license is advantageous
- Must be able to work in a team
- Must be able to read and write in English efficiently
- Must be able to read alphanumeric codes
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- £12.21 per hour rising after 12 weeks
- 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday with an earlier finish on Fridays
