We are seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join our team. As a Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical control panels according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of electrical systems, as well as proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
THE ROLE:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- Assemble electrical control panels by mounting components onto backplates or enclosures
- Wire control panels by routing, cutting, stripping, and terminating wires
- Install and connect electrical components such as relays, switches, circuit breakers, and terminal blocks
- Test completed panels for functionality and troubleshoot any issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
THE CANDIDATE:
