About the Role
You will be responsible for powder coating components ranging from small to large scale, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet job specifications. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently
- Set up and adjust powder guns, including selecting correct settings and tips for different surfaces
- Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of powder coating equipment
- Follow job instructions and production requirements accurately
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with preparation work, including cleaning and masking components
- Rotate between powder coating areas as required to support production demands
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in powder coating or a similar industrial finishing role
- Good understanding of powder coating processes, equipment, and application techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
- A strong focus on workplace safety and safe equipment operation
- Reliable, flexible, and a positive team player
