Cogent Staffing are recruiting for experienced Manufacturing Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis. Our client is a leading manufacturer in their industry. Full training will be provided for this role.
IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE & PERMANENT ROLES AFTER 12 WEEKS FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATES
You must be prepared to work days and nights (12 hour shifts) with weekends included (4 on/4 off shift pattern).
- Shift/salary:
- Shifts are continental: 4 x 12 hour day shifts (7am-7pm) followed by 4 days rest period then 4 x 12 hour nights (7pm-7am).
- This pattern continues, including days, nights and some weekends.
- £13.96, rising after 12 weeks, permanent after 12 full weeks of work.
- All necessary training is provided; however, previous experience in a physical role and with working both days and nights would be a big benefit.
- Temporary to permanent opportunity.

The role:
- Loading and unloading machines.
- Machine minding / machine operating.
- Quality checking products.
- Completing assembly duties using hand held power tools.
- Moving heavy raw materials where required.
- Assisting in the moving of finished products.
- General site maintenance and departmental upkeep in line with health and safety.
The candidate:
- Can commit long term to the shift pattern.
- Ability to work DAYS, NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.
- Is able to commute to Elland, Halifax for 7am Monday - Sunday.
- Has previous experience in a similar or physical role.
- Is receptive to training and willing to learn.
- Can communicate well and has an eye for detail.
Following the 12 weeks probation period, successful candidates will be offered a permanent contract within the company.
