Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced E-Commerce Lister for our client based in Batley. Work is on a full time basis, temporary to permanent with permanent roles offered after 12 weeks. The successful individual will be commercial, creative and innovative regarding products, channels and retail opportunities. Role summary: This role involves writing engaging product descriptions, uploading high-quality images, and optimizing listings for search visibility. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for fashion trends and detail, ensuring that all listings accurately represent the brand and products. Shift/salary: * £12.60 to £12.98 per hour (DOE) * In order to be considered for the higher pay rate you must have a background in fashion design or retail * Temporary ongoing placement, possibility of permanent role after 12 weeks * Monday to Friday * 08:00-16:15 * 36 hours per week The role: To maximise income through the sale of goods using an online platform created and maintained by the company, as well as other marketplaces. To grow online retail and be a key player in eCommerce expansion plans. * Listing of new and donated items online for sale across multiple marketplaces, writing in line with guidelines and ensuring listings are visible to a wide customer audience * Responding to customer queries as appropriate * Supporting in managing both online and physical inventory * Working to set KPIs * Manipulating data to reach the best income revenue generation * Ensuring productivity rates are maintained * Ensuring all listings meet the standards required * Carrying out product market research * Carrying out statistical data analysis, price checking, trend awareness and quality control monitoring * Present trend data to the management team to support strategic decision making and support future growth * Writing content including listing description and image regulation * Supporting in the management of inventory storage and all aspects of online selling operations * Maintaining high levels of housekeeping The candidate: * Can work in a timely and accurate fashion * Has an in depth knowledge of the creation of a commercial listings * Ideally has a background of working in E-Commerce within a retail environment * Has excellent communication skills * Is customer and sales focus * Competent working on systems and different platforms * Has experience of achieving KPIs through commercial listings * Can manage own workload with minimal supervision * Good time management skills * Has excellent IT skills and a good knowledge of systems, hardware and software At Cogent Staffing, we are committed to ethical recruitment practices and fostering an inclusive workplace.
