Cogent Staffing are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our Brighouse-based client for an experienced and driven Online Channels Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our client’s online sales channels, managing the day-to-day operations of their Shopify eCommerce website and Amazon marketplace presence.

The successful candidate will ensure a smooth post-order customer journey and deliver high-quality customer service, acting as a key link between the eCommerce, warehouse, sales, and finance teams. The role also involves monitoring order flow, resolving issues, managing aftersales processes, and maintaining website operations, along with supervising a part-time Online Fulfilment Operative responsible for picking and packing all orders.

Shift/salary:

  • Temporary assignment fixed term contract 3-6 months
  • The role may become longer term however this cannot be guaranteed at this time
  • Day shift, office hours Monday to Friday
  • £14.00 per hour
  • Weekly pay
  • Immediate start available for the right candidate, following a successful interview

The role:

  • Managing all online orders and fulfilment across Shopify and Amazon Seller Central
  • Supervising the Online Fulfilment Operative
  • Handling online customer service and aftersales support
  • Reporting, performance monitoring, and analysis
  • Stock management and reconciliation
  • Order processing, stock control, and finance management using Sage 200
  • Ongoing platform and marketplace maintenance

The candidate:

  • Previous experience in eCommerce and online sales
  • Proven experience administering Amazon FBA and FBM
  • Strong IT skills, including spreadsheets, email, and online platforms
  • Experience using Shopify or other eCommerce platforms
  • Sage 200 experience (essential)
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on driving and increasing sales
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organised, reliable, and able to multitask and work independently
