Please note: This is a 12 month fixed term contract. Cogent Skills and its Nuclear subsidiary, NSAN have won 5 bids in support of the National Nuclear Skills Plan. This role will support the teams at both Cogent Skills and NSAN to deliver all five projects by providing effective data analysis, insights and recommendations to inform the team and the project.

The Data Analyst will be an integral part of the research team within the Charity, supporting the Nuclear Skills Plan projects and in particular those with a prominent data/research element which includes a review of critical skills gaps and the need for the development of standardised roles, pathways and curriculum.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, leading, and maintaining advanced analytical processes.
  • Transforming complex problems and information into valuable intelligence that can support and direct the internal team in terms of their approach in delivering the project.
  • Informing the external client in prioritising key areas of focus and informing continuous improvement through ongoing evaluation.

This position requires close collaboration with employers, stakeholders, and the wider Research Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, actionable insights.
