This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to "tick boxes." We need a "can-do" professional, someone who can motivate the team, solve problems on the fly, and maintain the financial backbone of a business that is doubling in size.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping & Accounts: Total ownership of logging day-to-day accounts using QuickBooks. This includes processing invoices, bank reconciliations, and managing the "Lead-to-Cash" cycle. Our external Accountants manage key events.
  • Sales Team Empowerment: Support our high-performing sales team by preparing quotes, managing contracts, and ensuring all customer data is accurate and ready for installation.
  • Office & Management Support: You’ll handle the logistics that keep our Daresbury HQ running smoothly.
  • External Coordinator: Manage relationships with external contractors, sourcing competitive quotes and scheduling site visits.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Communicate with government offices and energy bodies (OZEV, DNOs, etc.) to handle grants, applications, and compliance paperwork.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QuickBooks: You have a solid background in bookkeeping and are comfortable managing accounts independently.
  • High-Growth Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
  • Proactive & Resilient: You have a "can-do" attitude and the "coach's energy" to drive projects forward even when hurdles arise.
  • Local to Daresbury: You are looking for a stable, 5-day-a-week office-based role in Cheshire.
  • Communication Pro: You can professionally navigate conversations with everyone from site electricians to government officials.

Why Join Us?

  • Industry Leader: Work for one of the fastest-growing EV firms in the UK.
  • Career Prospects: As we grow, your role and responsibilities will grow with us. We are looking for future leaders.
  • Purpose-Driven: Be part of the solution to climate change by accelerating EV adoption.

Package: £30k–£35k starting salary, plus a great benefits package and a vibrant team culture.
