We're looking for a Lead Electrician to spearhead our electrical division, delivering cutting-edge EV charging infrastructure across the UK. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead all electrical aspects of large-scale EV charging installations (AC & DC, three-phase systems)
- Oversee GRP cabinet builds, cable containment, and distribution board configurations
- Interpret and implement CAD drawings and site plans with precision
- Ensure compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and health & safety standards
- Provide on-site leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to electricians, subcontractors, and apprentices
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and external contractors for seamless delivery
What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Strong CAD interpretation skills and GRP cabinet experience
- Leadership experience or readiness to step into a senior role
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Extras:
- Proven experience in commercial-scale EV charger installations
- City & Guilds 2919 (EVSE/EV Charging qualification)
- 2391 Testing & Inspection certification
