Full Time Electrician - Renewable Energy - North West

We are looking for a Lead Electrician to spearhead our electrical division, delivering cutting-edge EV charging infrastructure across the UK. This is a senior leadership role within a fast-growing renewable energy company, offering the chance to shape high-profile projects and mentor the next generation of electrical talent.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead all electrical aspects of large-scale EV charging installations (AC & DC, three-phase systems)
  • Oversee GRP cabinet builds, cable containment, and distribution board configurations
  • Interpret and implement CAD drawings and site plans with precision
  • Ensure compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and health & safety standards
  • Provide on-site leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to electricians, subcontractors, and apprentices
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and external contractors for seamless delivery

What You’ll Need

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • Strong CAD interpretation skills and GRP cabinet experience
  • Leadership experience or readiness to step into a senior role
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Extras:

  • Proven experience in commercial-scale EV charger installations
  • City & Guilds 2919 (EVSE/EV Charging qualification)
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection certification
  • Experience managing subcontractors or site teams
