The Role
Working alongside an external company to grow the variety of activities, as the Outdoor Activity Instructor, you will ensure customers and guests are welcomed, suitably prepared and instructed to take part in their adventure activity. You will ensure that our guests have a great experience, that the equipment and facilities are correctly set up for each activity and that the appropriate paperwork has been completed. You will support the Leisure Manager and the team by performing your role to the best of your ability while following company policies, procedures and targets. You will follow Health & Safety procedures within the workplace, keeping yourself, co‑workers and guests safe at all times.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver the High Ropes on a daily basis as required.
• Day-to-day running of the activities programme, ensuring sessions are set up and delivered to a high standard.
• Support age‑appropriate, engaging, and safe sessions for a range of audiences, including families, children, schools, and organised groups.
• Deliver Forest School–style programs.
• Maximise use of the MUGA and sports facilities by delivering a range of sports‑based activities.
• Act as a visible point of contact for guests, answering questions and promoting activities in a friendly and welcoming way.
• Ensure activity areas, including the MUGA, are prepared, safe, clean, and well‑presented before and after sessions.
• Support the delivery of activities across Cofton, ensuring each is age‑appropriate, engaging and safe.

Who We’re Looking For
• Must be available to attend High Ropes training on the 3rd – 6th June 2026.
• Experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage.
• First aid Qualification desirable.
• Flexibility with ability to work weekends and bank holidays.
• Proactive with good communication.
