The Role: We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our Guest Service Team as a Receptionist & Reservations Team Member. As a Guest Services Team Member, you will be the friendly face that greets and assists our valued guests throughout their stay. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that each guest receives the highest level of service and feels welcomed from the moment they arrive until the time they depart. Guest services are about “everything guest” from all relevant administration, leaflets, social media, and all touch points of a guest journey pre, post-holiday communication.
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide them with all necessary information about our park facilities, amenities, and activities.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and solutions to enhance their experience.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for guests, offering recommendations and guidance on local attractions, restaurants, and events.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and issues with empathy and attentiveness, striving to resolve them to the guest's satisfaction.
- Handle reservations in a busy call centre environment.
- Take bookings in reception or via the phone.
- Operate numerous software booking systems.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, such as accommodation and maintenance, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to guests.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our park offerings, including accommodation options, amenities, and recreational activities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to exceed guest expectations and create memorable moments during their stay.
- Continuously update and maintain guest records and information in our reservation system accurately.
- Uphold and promote our company values, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Review online bookings and book guests onto our activities.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience of working in a customer focused role.
- Flexibility with ability to work weekends/evenings.
- Computer literate and have a good all-round knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
- Working knowledge of CRMs.
- Able to multi-task remaining calm and professional even in a pressurised customer service environment.
