Salary: Up to £13.00 per hour (depending on age).

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with licensing regulations and ensure all legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages are followed.
  • Adhere to the Weights and Measures Act and Trade Descriptions Act.
  • Participate in any necessary training as required by management.
  • Prepare tables, seating and serve hot/cold beverages in a timely manner.
  • Support floor and waiting staff, greet customers on arrival and assist with seating.
  • Display and update specials boards and opening times.
  • Handle till transactions accurately and report any errors to the Front of House Manager/Assistant Manager/Complex Supervisor.
  • Check incoming deliveries, note shortages or discrepancies, and assist with stock rotation using the FIFO method.
  • Assist in training new staff and allow them to shadow you.
  • Record wastage accurately.
  • Perform daily cleaning duties.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and opening/closing procedures.
