Grounds Assistant to join our friendly team.

The Role

As a Grounds Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance, safety, and smooth operation of our estate.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help ensure that our grounds and facilities remain welcoming and well-presented at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general grounds maintenance and landscaping duties.
  • Safely tow caravans, trailers, and equipment around the estate.
  • Assist with guest arrivals and "show on" duties, helping visitors settle into their accommodation.
  • Complete daily site inspections and safety checks.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of communal areas, pathways, and estate facilities.
  • Undertake routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks.
  • Identify, report, and assist with minor maintenance repairs.
  • Follow all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures to ensure a safe environment for colleagues, guests, and visitors.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents, holiday guests, and visitors.
  • Work weekends on a rota basis and provide occasional on-call support when required.

About You

We're looking for a proactive and dependable individual who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, estates, landscaping, or a similar role.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience towing trailers and equipment. ( essential)
  • Confidence working independently when required.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as part of a rota.
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using digital systems.
