The Role
We’re looking for a Gas Engineer / Plumber to join our Maintenance team. You’ll be responsible for the safe servicing, maintenance, repair and installation of gas systems across our holiday parks, while also supporting wider multi-skilled maintenance tasks to keep our estates running smoothly. This is a hands‑on, varied role working across multiple sites in a guest‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gas & Compliance
- Service, repair and install gas boilers, water heaters and appliances
- Carry out gas safety inspections and issue CP12 certificates
- Work on gas meters, pipework and LPG systems
- Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and respond to gas‑related emergencies
- Ensure full compliance with Gas Safe regulations
- Maintain accurate records, certificates and compliance documentation
- Inspect and report issues with carbon monoxide and gas detection systems
- Carry out associated plumbing works
- Assist with hot tub and pool plant systems (training provided)
- Support general maintenance tasks across the estates
- Respond to reactive maintenance and emergency callouts
- Work safely in line with company health & safety policies
- Use PPE and safe systems of work at all times
- Follow lone working and dynamic risk assessment procedures
- Deliver a professional, friendly service to guests and colleagues
- Liaise with managers, team members and external contractors
What We’re Looking For
- Gas Safe Registered
- Plumbing or multi‑trade maintenance experience
- Experience in a holiday park, leisure or hospitality environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to work weekends and take part in an on‑call rota
- Caravan and LPG qualifications (or willingness to train)
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Pool or hot tub plant knowledge (or willingness to learn)
Working Pattern & On-Call
This role includes weekend and out‑of‑hours support on a rota basis. You’ll need to be contactable and able to attend site within agreed response times. On‑call allowances and call‑out payments apply in line with company policy.
