About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale technology and digital transformation projects within our UK&I business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, stakeholder expectations, and cross-functional teams while ensuring high-quality delivery in an Agile environment.

The Project Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, architects, product owners, and senior leadership to drive project execution and achieve strategic business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and execution plans.
  • Manage project schedules, dependencies, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to align project goals and delivery expectations.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Drive governance, compliance, and project control processes.
  • Facilitate project planning, sprint reviews, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Manage change requests and ensure effective scope control.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams across development, testing, infrastructure, and business operations.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivery excellence.

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Project Management.
  • Proven experience managing complex technology and digital transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Expertise in risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance and reporting frameworks.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, MS Project, or similar.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience delivering projects within the UK Public Sector, Banking, Financial Services, or Enterprise Technology environments.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Dev Ops, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
  • PRINCE2, PMP, Agile PM, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certifications.
  • Experience managing offshore and onshore delivery teams.
