Role Summary
The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for leading end‑to‑end delivery of projects and support engagements within the Insurance domain. The role focuses on fixed‑price delivery management, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and account growth. The candidate will handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring strong governance, financial control, and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end delivery of fixed‑price and support projects, ensuring scope, timelines, cost, and quality are met
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects/engagements across the Insurance domain
- Serve as the primary client contact, building trusted and long‑term stakeholder relationships
- Ensure effective resource planning, utilization, and profitability across engagements
- Apply strong understanding of delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and commercial models
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks/issues; drive proactive corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to quality, compliance, and delivery governance standards
- Support pre‑sales with estimations, proposals, and solution presentations
- Identify opportunities for upsell and cross‑sell to grow the account footprint
- Deliver accurate dashboards, metrics, and ongoing performance reporting
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing fixed‑price projects and support engagements
- Strong background in the Insurance domain (Life, P&C, Specialty, or related)
- Experience managing multiple parallel projects with diverse teams
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and client management skills
- In‑depth understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models
- Good knowledge of commercial models (fixed price, T&M, managed services)
- Proficiency with project management and reporting tools
