Director - BFS Consulting and Solutions Lead
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced consulting professional to join our Consulting practice and help clients deliver business transformation, operational improvement, digital modernisation, and strategic change initiatives. The role requires strong consulting, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work across industries and business functions.
Experience within the Banking & Financial Services sector, particularly Retail Banking , would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver consulting engagements focused on business transformation, operating model design, process improvement, and digital initiatives.
- Analyse client challenges, develop actionable recommendations, and support implementation of strategic solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and executive discussions to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop business cases, transformation roadmaps, and operational strategies aligned to client objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor.
- Support business development activities, including solution development, proposals, presentations, and client pitches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of client engagements.
- Contribute to thought leadership, consulting methodologies, and practice growth initiatives.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Business Consulting, Strategy, or Transformation roles.
- Proven track record of delivering consulting engagements and business transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience engaging with senior executives and leading client-facing discussions.
- Ability to develop strategic recommendations and translate them into measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within Banking & Financial Services , with Retail Banking expertise considered a strong advantage .
- Understanding of retail banking products, customer journeys, digital banking, payments, lending, mortgages, deposits, or branch transformation.
- Exposure to large-scale transformation, customer experience, operational excellence, or digital modernization programs.
- Experience supporting business growth, organisational change, or target operating model initiatives.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.
Ideal Candidate
A commercially minded consultant with strong client-facing experience, capable of leading transformation engagements, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering measurable business outcomes. Exposure to Retail Banking and Financial Services is desirable but not mandatory.
