We at Coforge are looking for Oracle Developer in Leeds, UK
Experienced Oracle Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and Oracle APEX to design, develop, and support robust business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale technology transformation programs and be capable of delivering end-to-end solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle-based applications using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle APEX.
- Produce detailed technical specifications, solution designs, and development documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Testers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring optimal system performance.
- Contribute to database performance tuning and optimization activities.
- Support the delivery of technology transformation initiatives and enhancements across core business applications.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Oracle Developer, with hands-on experience in Oracle Database 11g and ideally exposure to Oracle 19c.
- Strong development skills in PL/SQL and Oracle APEX.
- Solid experience in database design, development, and maintenance.
- Ability to analyse and solve complex technical problems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence, guide, and challenge constructively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience working within large-scale technology or digital transformation programs.
- Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience within the Mortgage and Savings domain.
- Exposure to financial services or banking environments.
