We at Coforge are looking for a highly skilled Power BI / Reporting Services development Architect to assist our Partner Reporting Lead. This individual will play a crucial role in developing and managing reporting solutions that connect to our SQL Server, as well as visualizing data through Power BI for both management reporting and business intelligence purposes. The role requires strong SQL knowledge and the ability to work with complex datasets to provide actionable insights and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports connected to SQL Server databases. Create and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for management and business intelligence.
  • Automation and Efficiency: Assist in automating the process of passing parameters to Reporting Services using predefined templates. Develop procedures to generate a large number of reports from already transformed datasets for partner reporting.
  • Migration and Onboarding: Aid in migrating current reporting processes to more efficient, automated systems. Assist in onboarding new reporting requirements for new partners.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Partner Reporting Lead and other team members to understand and deliver on reporting requirements. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide status updates.
  • Documentation and Best Practices: Document reporting processes and solutions. Adhere to best practices in data visualization and reporting.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Development Architecture or Reporting Services Development Architecture.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL Server.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report server.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Advantageous Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
