About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pega Business Analyst to join our delivery team and play a key role in driving business transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, and Pega development teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable Pega solutions.
The role requires strong business analysis expertise, stakeholder management skills, and a thorough understanding of Pega's Agile delivery methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with Pega Architects, Developers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, UAT, and release activities.
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Ensure requirements align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Support testing activities, including defining acceptance criteria and validating delivered functionality.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
- Hands-on experience working on Pega BPM/CRM projects.
- Strong understanding of Pega Case Management and Business Process Management concepts.
- Experience in requirement elicitation, process mapping, and user story creation.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and other Agile tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to create BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting UAT and production releases.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Pega Customer Service, Pega Smart Dispute, or Pega Government Platforms.
- Experience in UK Public Sector, Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains.
- Knowledge of BPM, workflow automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to Pega Constellation and low-code application development.
