About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team and lead high-quality testing across complex enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in test analysis, test planning, functional and regression testing, and working in Agile delivery environments. A senior analyst is expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure quality standards, and drive continuous improvement in QA practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business and technical requirements, identify test scenarios, and prepare detailed test plans.
- Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing including functional, regression, integration, and UAT support.
- Develop, review, and maintain high-quality test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Execute test cycles, manage defects, and ensure timely defect resolution with development teams.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to ensure quality delivery.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards, processes, and documentation guidelines.
- Prepare detailed test reports, metrics, and sign-off documentation for releases.
- Contribute to QA process improvements and assist in implementing best practices in the team.
- Support automation initiatives and collaborate with automation engineers to enhance test coverage.
Required Skills & Experience
- 9 to 15 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficient in test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Strong expertise in functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Experience in API testing (Postman/SoapUI) is desirable.
- Basic understanding of automation frameworks or Scripting is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
