Our wonderful Coffi Lab Baristas are central to the creation of the exceptional customer experience that we strive for. Providing prompt service and great tasting coffee in a warm, friendly and engaging manner. If you are looking to join a company with heart, with the added bonus of daily visits from our friendly, four-legged customers, this could be the opportunity for you.
We currently have the flexibility to consider full and part time applications. We are ideally looking for people to work 3, 4 or 5 days per week. We are open 7 days per week and so we look for as much flexibility as possible. Rotas are prepared at least a week in advance. Our Team Members each work their share of open and close shifts. The open shifts start as early as 6:30 am and the close shift finishes around 6:30 pm. All of our Baristas are paid £12.75 per hour.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Delighting every customer with our magnificent Coffi Lab customer service.
- Crafting consistently beautiful coffee with basic latte art (following recipe and presentation standards and understanding all milks served).
- Helping your team to keep the store spotless – ensuring that it is a nice place to both work in and visit.
- Managing busy periods by multitasking and following processes to maintain speed of service and quality of product.
- Being dependable and a team player to keep everything running like clockwork.
- Communicating clearly to get your message across efficiently.
- Being organised and multi‑tasking to maintain a consistent customer experience from the first to the last.
- Remaining steady under varying pace levels – busy and calm periods alike.
- Being friendly – we want our teams to find the fun at work. Approachability, kindness and attentiveness to customers are essential.
Qualifications:
- Experience within a high‑volume retail, hospitality or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential.
- Previous coffee experience is also desirable; full training and support will be provided.
