Our wonderful Coffi Lab Baristas are central to the creation of the exceptional customer experience that we strive for, providing prompt service and great tasting coffee in a warm, friendly, and engaging manner. We have full and part‑time opportunities available. We are open 7 days per week and look for flexibility. Rotas are prepared at least a week in advance. Each team member works their share of open and close shifts. Open shifts start as early as 6:30 am and close shifts finish around 6:30 pm. All Baristas are paid £12.25 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Delight every customer with our magnificent Coffi Lab customer service.
- Craft consistently beautiful coffee with basic latte art, following recipe and presentation standards and understanding all milks served.
- Help the team keep the store spotless, ensuring it is a nice place to both work in and visit.
- Multitask and follow processes to maintain speed of service and quality of product during busy periods.
Qualifications & Experience
- Be dependable and a team player.
- Be clear, with effective and efficient communication skills.
- Be organized and able to multi‑task to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Be steady and able to cope with varying pace, both up and down.
- Be friendly, approachable, kind, welcoming, and attentive to customers.
Experience within a high‑volume retail, hospitality or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential. Previous coffee experience is also desirable, but full training and support will be provided.
