Our wonderful Coffi Lab Baristas are central to the creation of the exceptional customer experience that we strive for. Providing prompt service and great tasting coffee in a warm, friendly and engaging manner. If you are looking to join a company with heart, with the added bonus of daily visits from our friendly, four-legged customers, this could be the opportunity for you.
We are looking for someone to join our Pontcanna team working approximately 2 days per week (16hrs). We are open 7 days per week and so we look for as much flexibility as possible. Rotas are prepared at least a week in advance. Our Team Members each work their share of open and close shifts. The open shifts start as early as 6:30am and the close shift finishes around 6:30pm. All of our Baristas are paid £12.75 per hour.
Day to day, you will be responsible for:
- Delighting every customer with our magnificent Coffi Lab customer service.
- Crafting consistently beautiful coffee with basic latte art (following recipe and presentation standards and understanding all milks served).
- Helping your team to keep the store spotless - ensuring that it is a nice place to both work in and visit.
- Multitasking and following processes in order to maintain both speed of service and quality of product.
- Being dependable and a team player to help everything run like clockwork.
- Communicating effectively and efficiently to get your message across.
- Being organised and able to multi-task to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Coping with a change of pace, both up and down, as our stores can get very busy.
- Being friendly and approachable, finding the fun at work while being welcoming and attentive to our customers.
