Our wonderful Coffi Lab Baristas are central to the creation of the exceptional customer experience that we strive for. Providing prompt service and great tasting coffee in a warm, friendly, and engaging manner.

We are looking for someone to join our Wellfield Road (Cardiff) team on a full-time basis (working 5 days per week). We are open 7 days per week and seek as much flexibility as possible. Rota are prepared at least a week in advance. Our Team Members each work their share of open and close shifts. The open shifts start as early as 6:30 am, and the close shift finishes around 6:30 pm. All of our Baristas are paid £12.25 per hour.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Delighting every customer with our magnificent Coffi Lab customer service.
- Crafting consistently beautiful coffee with basic latte art, following recipes and presentation standards, and understanding all milks served.
- Helping your team to keep the store spotless, ensuring it is a nice place to work and visit.
- Managing busy periods by multitasking and following processes to maintain speed of service and product quality.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is dependable. Being a team player helps everything run smoothly.
- Is clear. Effective and efficient communication skills are important.
- Is organized. Ability to multi-task is essential to ensure a consistent customer experience from start to finish.
- Is steady. Our stores can get very busy, and our teams need to adapt to changing paces.
- Is friendly. We want our teams to find fun at work. You should be approachable, kind, welcoming, and attentive to customers.
Experience in high-volume retail, hospitality, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential. Previous coffee experience is also desirable; however, full training and support will be provided.
