About The Role

Role Summary: As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK. You'll gain hands-on experience in project planning, design, and execution, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This role offers a pathway to Chartered Engineer status and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) and civils projects.
  • Support the development of technical documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to site inspections, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Participate in design reviews and help ensure engineering solutions meet client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for senior engineers and project managers.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • BEng or MEng in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CAD tools.
  • Full UK driving licence.
