This is a unique opportunity to act as the "face" of Coftec in the UK. As our Senior Project Engineer, you will be the linchpin connecting our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Ireland with our live project sites in the UK. We are looking for a strategic, hands‑on leader who can take ownership of the on‑site execution, drive commercial growth alongside our Business Development team, and uphold our reputation for engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Leadership: Take full ownership as the primary site contact for the UK, seamlessly managing the installation, testing, commissioning, and client handover of our modular products.
- Bridge the Gap: Serve as the critical feedback loop to our Project Managers and design teams, ensuring off‑site builds are perfectly optimized for on‑site reality.
- Commercial Impact: Work alongside the UK Business Development Manager to evaluate new sites, provide technical credibility during client meetings, and contribute expert insights to competitive tender submissions.
- Safety & Quality Custodian: Champion Coftec’s uncompromising HSQE standards on all UK sites, ensuring a safe working environment and flawless product delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture trust‑based relationships with UK clients, local authorities, and sub‑contractors, ensuring an exceptional client experience from delivery to handover.

About You
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of robust experience in project engineering, site management, or commissioning, specifically within the UK water, wastewater, or civil infrastructure sectors.
- A proven track record of leading site installations and successfully bringing projects through to final commissioning and handover.
- Good understanding of UK site safety (HSQE) and Quality Assurance (QA) protocols.
- Commercial acumen, with previous experience supporting tendering, bidding, or business development activities are beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills— liaising between design teams and production staff.
- Full clean driving licence and the flexibility to travel to project sites across the UK as required.
