Weekend Barista – Coffee & Clay Café & Pottery Studio (Skipton) (Shifts in week may be if required - discussed at interview). This role is ideally suited to a school leaver or college student (age 16+) looking for a weekend and summer position, with the opportunity for additional weekday shifts if desired. If you enjoy working in a busy, creative environment and take pride in making great drinks and happy customers, we would love to hear from you.
What we’re looking for:
- Some barista or café experience preferred (training can be provided for the right person)
- Confidence or interest in learning espresso preparation and milk steaming
- Friendly, energetic and confident with customers
- Able to work at least one weekend shift every week
- A reliable team player who enjoys being busy
- Local to Skipton or the immediate area
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

About the role:
The role combines preparing and serving drinks (especially coffee), customer service and helping maintain a clean and well-organised café environment. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing hot and cold drinks
- Taking customer orders and operating the till
- Delivering friendly customer service
- Keeping the café clean and presentable
- Restocking and general café support
- Supporting the team during busy periods
Barista skills are desirable but not essential as full training can be provided.
