We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Account Manager - Mid Market (Maternity Cover) to join our team in London for 18 months. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our mid‑market clients, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned mid‑market accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Analyse client needs and provide expert advice on our products and services
  • Create and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and expand existing customer relationships
  • Conduct regular client meetings and negotiations at senior management level
  • Monitor key performance indicators and prepare detailed reports on account progress
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions and resolve any client issues
  • Identify and pursue cross‑selling and upselling opportunities within your portfolio
  • Participate in the development and execution of marketing strategies for the mid‑market segment
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge

Experience working in a regulated environment and understanding of FCA requirements and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in mid‑market account management, preferably within a broker environment
  • Strong understanding of the UK mid‑market landscape and business challenges
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities with a focus on long‑term account growth
  • Self‑motivated with a high degree of personal responsibility and a hands‑on mentality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
