Job Purpose:The Production & Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the end-to-end process from quotation to delivery, ensuring products are prepared, inspected, and delivered efficiently while maintaining accurate stock and contract management. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple functions to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Quotation & Order Management:
- Prepare and send accurate quotes to customers in a timely manner.
- Raise customer orders in Sage and ensure all relevant information is captured.
- Place orders with suppliers, tracking progress to meet agreed delivery dates.
- Contract & Delivery Management:
- Manage contracts to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Monitor and communicate with suppliers to mitigate delays and resolve issues.
- Stock & Production Support:
- Manage and control stock levels, ensuring availability for production requirements.
- Read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) accurately.
- Kit jobs to BOM specifications, preparing them for production.
- Quality & Inspection:
- Inspect final products against drawings and specifications to ensure quality standards are met.
- Product Preparation & Delivery:
- Prepare products for delivery, including generating and checking delivery notes.
- Deliver products to customers as required, ensuring safe and timely transport.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs.
- Attention to detail and high-quality standards.
- Competent in using Sage or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills for internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Basic stock management and logistics knowledge.
- Valid driverβs license (if delivery is required).
- Previous experience in production support, sales administration, or supply chain roles.
- Experience working with BOMs and preparing production kits.
- Experience in stock management and quality inspection.
