Coempowered is seeking a skilled and reliable volunteer to manage our social media presence and produce content for our website. Help us communicate our educational mission and engage wider audiences through thoughtful engaging storytelling.
What difference will you make?
Coempowered\'s work depends on clear, authentic communication with learners, volunteers, and partners across different regions and languages. Our social media and website are key tools for sharing our educational mission, building trust with funders, and inspiring engagement in our programmes.
By producing regular, well-crafted digital content, the Website and Social Media Producer will help us
- Strengthen our online identity and public visibility.
- Share stories and outcomes from our educational and community projects.
- Promote new courses, events, and collaborative initiatives.
- Build engagement among participants, facilitators, and supporters.
- Attract potential donors and partners as we prepare to become a registered charity.
Your contribution will ensure that Coempowered\'s work in critical and philosophical education reaches a wider audience and communicates the depth and relevance of our mission. By helping us tell our story consistently and effectively, you will directly support our capacity to sustain and expand our impact.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a thoughtful and reliable volunteer with strong communication and digital media skills who can represent Coempowered\'s educational ethos online.
The ideal candidate will have
- Proven experience managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, X, Instagram) or creating digital content for an organisation or project.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
- A good understanding of online engagement, audience growth, and storytelling through visual and written content.
- Basic familiarity with website content management systems (such as WordPress or Wix) β desirable but not essential.
- The ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate with a small remote team.
- A reflective and collaborative attitude, open to feedback and creative dialogue.
- A genuine interest in education, philosophy, social change, or community-based learning.
- The most important qualities are self-motivation, consistency, and alignment with Coempowered\'s values of critical inquiry, inclusion, and collective growth.
What will you be doing?
