We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving growth within the company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and nurture new business opportunities to generate leads.
  • Manage and qualify inbound leads in your region.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop target lists.
  • Attend networking events and meetings to build local profile of COEL.
  • Report on BD activities including contacts, meetings, leads.

About you:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a real team player.
  • Familiarity with local markets in Oxford, Milton Keynes or surrounding areas.
  • Experience managing data and working with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of lead/contact management systems (e.g. Cognism/ZoomInfo).
  • Construction/Fit-out experience would be an advantage but not essential.
