Codurance is a global software professional services consultancy, helping clients continuously deliver value through the adoption of quality practices and technical excellence. Software craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do. We build well‑crafted software and help development teams get better at continuously delivering software through the application of extreme programming practices and software craftsmanship values.

We're looking for a Contract Agile Delivery Manager who shares our values of pragmatism, professionalism and transparency. Working from your affiliated office location (London, Leeds or Manchester) or remotely with clients closer to home, you'll join us on an initial contract basis and get stuck into real delivery challenges from day one. This isn't a role where you'll sit within a single team for years; you'll work across a variety of internal and client projects, bringing structure, momentum and clarity wherever you land.

You might be:

  • Overseeing a client project delivered by one of our own teams, anything from a greenfield build for a startup to a mission-critical system for a large enterprise.
  • Working alongside our embedded Software Craftspeople inside a client's existing development team, helping them get better at delivering their own software.
  • Introducing the values of agile and software craftsmanship to an organisation through coaching and mentoring.

Whatever the context, you'll be responsible for ensuring the team is equipped, focused, and supported to meet its commitments: coaching and mentoring to build a cohesive, healthy culture, and working closely with clients to build trust and alignment. You'll help teams proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies, and you'll turn a shared vision into a workable roadmap and an effective backlog.

Because this is a contract engagement, we need someone who can move fast, be comfortable adapting to new clients, teams and ways of working without a long ramp-up period.

What You'll Bring

  • A track record of owning roadmaps or project plans, and confidence managing stakeholders, including the difficult conversations.
  • A genuine belief in agile ways of working, with the experience to teach it and challenge mindsets where needed.
  • A collaborative, people‑first approach; balanced with the discipline and rigour good delivery demands.
  • The ability to lead at all levels, taking ownership of delivery while empowering the team to find its own best way of working.
  • Prior experience working within a consultancy, comfortable juggling multiple concurrent clients and projects rather than embedding long‑term in a single product team.
  • Experience delivering or supporting data lake implementations, with an understanding of the particular delivery challenges around data platform and data engineering initiatives; strongly desirable.

We believe everyone should have the right to bring their whole self to work and be celebrated for who they are. Our people are hired purely on their commitment to our values and their ambition to deliver outstanding results for our clients. Codurance is proud to be an Equal Opportunities Employer, committed to fostering an inclusive workplace for all.
